New Design & Build Project at Kilmore Hotel

Last week we started a new project replacing the old water feature and steps at the Kilmore Hotel, Cavan. The new project will incorporate many different elements including new Limestone Steps, Fountain, Stone walls, Paving, Planting & lighting schemes. The photo shows custom made solid Irish Limestone steps being lifted into position. The project was designed by Brackley Landscapes and has a six week programme for completion.

ALCI Winners Southern-21

Brackley Landscapes was last week awarded an Award of Merit for a project completed in Malahide earlier this year. The ALCI Landscape Awards were first introduced in 1983 and are held annually to celebrate the high standards of skills and professionalism of ALCI members across a range of landscape schemes. The awards ceremony was held in The Titanic Centre, Belfast on the 17th October

New Entrance & Gardens at The Valley Hotel

Works complete this week on new function room entrance at The Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone. This was a design & build project with a six week timeframe for construction. The works included: excavation & setting out, new entrance steps, stone walling & capping, paved access walkways, seating area, stainless steel railings, lighting scheme, planting scheme.

Completion of latest Project, Urban Back garden , Malahide

Works complete on redevelopment of private back garden, Malahide. This two month project was small but complex and involved a wide range of different works and  finishes but the  finished project looks fantastic! We hope you agree! Works included excavation works, retaining walls, granite paving & steps, frameless glass balustrading, cantilevered Iroko seating, Cor-ten steel planter, cedar cladding, specimen pleached Magnolias, planting scheme, Turfed lawn & automatic irrigation system.

Landscaping work qualifies for the Home Renovation Incentive Scheme

The Home Renovation Incentive scheme runs from 25th October 2013 to 31st December 2015 and provides for tax relief for homeowners by way of a tax credit at 13.5% of qualifying expenditure incurred on repair, renovation or improvement work carried out on a principal private residence including its garden or grounds of an ornamental nature. The minimum expenditure must be €5,000 ex VAT and relief will be granted on qualifying expenditure up to a maximum of €30,000 excl VAT. Relief will be granted by way of tax credit split over two years following the year in which the works are carried out. The scheme will run from 25th October 2013 to 31st December 2015. Works carried out in 2013 will be deemed to have taken place in 2014 and the credit will be awarded in 2015 and 2016.
